En janvier 2000 un groupe d'artistes internationaux dont la plupart utilisent les nouvelles technologies, s'est réuni pour descendre le fleuve Mouhoun au Burkina Faso et rencontrer des artistes Burkinabés. Ensemble, ils ont réalisé des créations dans les villages et animé des ateliers avec les artistes locaux, les enfants de la rue, dans les écoles...

En novembre-décembre 2000 et mai juin 2001 ce même groupe d'artistes auxquels se rajoutent des artistes burkinabés rencontrés au bord du fleuve Mouhoun feront une tournée en Europe. Cette tournée s'organise autour de résidences pendant lesquelles les artistes mettent en place des ateliers pédagogiques et des rencontres avec les artistes de la région.

From January 12th to February 1st 2000, a group of international artists, most of them working and creating art and music with new technologies, met to travel down the River Mouhoun in Burkina Faso and collaborate with local artists. Together, they created new works in villages, ran workshops with local artists, children in the streets, in schools and homes.

During Nov-Dec 2000 and in May-June 2001, this very same group of artists will tour Europe, together with artists from Burkina Faso met during the trip down the River Mouhoun. This "travelling tour" will be structured around residencies during which the artists will run workshops and meet the local artists in European towns.
