CARLA VAN BEERS

(1957)

Lived in : the Netherlands, Italy, France, Namibia and Zimbabwe.

Studied at : Academie Minerva Groningen, 1983-1989. The Netherlands, E.N.S.A.D. Paris, 1987, France.

Mission : to materialize pieces of the non-material world.

Language : Mixture of materials like collages, assemblage, bric-a-brac, including photography.

Story : each material has its own radiation, I like to play with all different significations and question everything in life, especially art.

Themes : Time and transience, genuineness and artificiality, spiritual light and earthly colours.
