The author describes his journey from two-dimensional art forms involvingthe ideas of "space" and "place" to his current medium, which involves thetranslation of landscapes into musical sound-pattern compositions. Thesecompositions, when transmitted in the form of microwaves, remain in deepspace for millennia. The transmissions attract many participants and havebecome spectacles of sound, poetry, dance and performance.
