Leonardo/ISAST (www.leonardo.info) is pleased to announce the publication of the e-book and web companion Arts, Humanities and Complex Networks ( EBOOK http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007S0UA9Q and Web Companion http://www.ahcncompanion.info ).

Produced in partnership with the ATEC program at the University of Texas, Dallas (http://www.utdallas.edu/atec/) and MIT Press (http://www.mitpressjournals.org/loi/leon), this projects of 25 articles, documents the work of 45 leading researchers whose work explores the meaning and application of the science of complex networks to art history, archeology, visual arts, music, the art market and other areas of cultural importance.

The publication editors are art historian Max Schich, designer Isabel Meirelles and Leonardo Executive Editor Roger Malina.

The publication is part of the Leonardo/OLATS (www.olats.org) participation in the STUDIOLABS project (http://www.olats.org/studiolab/studiolab.php), which brings together leading European scientific and cultural groups around the topics of complex networks, the future of water and synthetic biology.
