Louise Whiteley and Malthe Bjerregaard present the exhibition The Body Collected and the artwork by Gina Czarnecki & John Hunt Heirloom a living portrait of the artists's daughters based on the own cells, within the framework of the Medical Museion in Copenhagen scope and aims. They discuss the specific and ethical issues raised by displaying human dead bodies and body parts on the one hand and living tissue on the other in a museum.

Artist Gina Czarnecki and scientist John Hunt present their work Heirloom which is a living portrait of the artist's daughters consisting of a glass cast of their faces onto which their skin cells are growing within a bioreactor. A video document of the whole process and 3D scanning-printing sculptures complete the work.
They discuss the ethical issues raised by this work, from the consent forms to regenerative and personalized medicine.

The artist Howard Boland presents his project Cellular Propeller, not achieved at the time of the recording, and that consists of propelling an artificial object, namely a small wheel, with human sperm cells in a synthetic biology artwork. He discusses the ethical and aesthetical issues related to the creation of this work as well as his creative process.
